Slowly I am starting to push the boundaries of the size and stretch of the gradient, thus expanding the work’s effect on the spectator. Larger surfaces draw the viewer into the seeming simplicity of the gradient yet brings subtle changes in color into focus. Simultaneously I explore elements of abstract art and how these operate in his practice of making gradients.
